Today I’d like to start my series of topics on blogging, how I understand it, and most important how to make blogging profitable from my firs hand experience. I will cover simple things you probably know about, don’t get me wrong, please. But I discuss my topic under different angle of view, through prism of the time and personality.
Ask yourself why you are blogging anyway? What was the cause you start glogging? Why blogging is so important to you now-days like never before? With no doubt there are hundreds if not thousands of reasons why. But Number one is – get to be known. Is it advertising? Yes it is! It means you can apply rules and techniques of advertising on blogging in order to sell. What to sell? Yourself of cause.
When you selling the product, you selling your personality, your unrepeatable uniqueness. You disclosure features and benefits of merchandise as better as nobody else. You are leading buyer, no doubt selling is leading. You have to lead people, you have to tell people about yourself, you need the vehicle to deliver your product. You need advertising.
The only purpose of advertising is selling the product. Other than that is demagogy.
There was the times when people sell goods without advertising. It was the time when people sell what they made. Those times gone forever. Now the time when people make goods which other people will buy. This is the difference between NOW and THEN.
So NOW you need advertising of any kind to sell the product. Many thanks to Internet, we can do it online by just pushing a button. Advertising itself is a product being sold to make money. As any product for sale it needs advertising. Rat race? Oh ya, indeed! It’s money making machine.
So you selling advertising as a salesman and you have to advertise this advertising. Remember what you are selling? You betcha! YOUSELF! The only thing than can disclosure is your own features as a person is… You know what it is. It’s writing article about you e.g. blogging.
Now you have idea what blogging is from advertiser point of view. Probably now you get the point why today is so important. Today is The day between NOW and THEN.
























Many people out there starts a blog is because of their online business, they have their products to sell but don’t want to spend much money on advertising, so they start a blog and build their brand. When they build up their trust and brand, traffic come over and follow by sales and money.
Trust and brand are the key, when you get that, you’ll probably get sales easily.

IMHO blog is advertising when you serious on your brand and building this type of advertising as it has to be.

What is the most effective advertising? Purchase ad slot on many cheap targeted blog, or use Google Adword and Yahoo to promote your online business?
Benjamin, from my own experience Google Adwords doesn’t work for me. Tens of thousand impressions and NO clicks – not effective.
What effective is Purchasing cheap advertising in targeted Ad Networks and http://www.AdWooz.com is one of them. By the way publishers of this ad network are bloggers. It means that AdWooz.com is highly targeted network in this case.
Purchasing ad on many cheap targeted blog is good idea as well, but why to bother if there is ad network which already targeted, just use it.
