We Sell for Less. Is it familiar to you? Let’s put some fresh air: Save Money, Live Better. It’s Walmart, you recognize it now, don’t you? Everybody knows this giant retailer if not by saving money then by WMT abbreviation for sure.

The reason I recall Walmart millennia slogan We Sell for Less was a commercial I’ve dug recently when I’ve been thinking of promotion for my client which is declining in sales because of construction slow down.

Simple slogan with power words. Well, then Walmart had changed slogan to Save Money, Live Better. Again power words Live Better. Don’t get me wrong, but I don’t understand how I can live better by saving money. Nevertheless it works in advertising and beyond, and Walmart make huge money on Save Money.

My primary goal today was a powerful advertising. Then I switched to other subject – how to make money online using such giant as Walmart. Not Walmart itself, but leveraging a big name.

Learn How to Protect Your Site Against Content Thieves

When you’ve done with Keyword Tag That Works it’s time to Protect Your Site Against Content Thieves. Pictures, Photographs, Files, CSS etc. They say if there is treasury the thieve has to be, it’s clear as a sunny day. It’s like if there is money, there are people who got them a lot.

When it comes to Making Money Online, it’s not a joke. As I told you already I like to dig in code of any website. I’m treasury hunter. I’m kidding. Seriously I’m wondering why some web-developers don’t bother about their assents. It’s understandable if somebody would like to steal they will do it. But you have to be prepared to prevent it.

The easiest way to get images, files (some kind of) and codes is just point folder in browser and get it. You have to create a plan how to avoid it. It’s easy when you know how to do this. Some web hostings do a great job to protect users from such activities without admin intervention, but some don’t.

When you have cPanel in your hosting account I would say you are not protected by default, but have a great environment to work on. cPanel is my favorite interface, but I have to set it up for my protection. Let me explain in simple words How To Protect Your Website From viewing folder’s content.

Well, you’ve done with your website and it’s time to think how to save it from any kind of attack. Log in to you cPanel, follow to Advanced section in the bottom of home page. There is Index Manager over there, click on the this image. Next window is Index Manager itself which allows you to customize the way a directory will be viewed on the web.

You can select between a default style, no indexes, or two types of indexing. If you do not wish for people to be able to see the files in your directory, choose no indexing. Hit the Folder Name (not folder itself, but folder name). Next window prompts you to select type of indexing. Select No Indexing, Save changes. DONE!

Repeat this step for each folder in root directory and you’ve done. Most people don’t know how to do this, now probably they can sleep well. I hope.

Yesterday RBC TV advertising grabbed my attention when I counted more then 32 same words within one minute commercial brake. Wow! Brilliant keyword marketing. Later I’ve been singing this word over and over again. Today I forgot it. The word was not Royal Bank of Canada of cause, but something related to e-account. It inspires me to talk How to Set Up Keyword Tag That Works.

It’s my habit to check keywords in keyword tag when I open new blog or website and hit View Source link. Just wondering how web-masters handle this issues could be informative to set up keyword tag for your own website. Very interesting picture by the way shows up.

Companies with big names and huge investments don’t bother about keywords at all. It’s understandable, they invest in advertising and get high page rank. What about the rest of online money makers? They have to do their home work. Small changes in keyword tag could dramatically increase your traffic.

This is a tips I’d like to share with you to set up keyword tag. I never ever use website name in keyword tag. I use keyword have been used in branding my website instead. Let say, my website name is boraparis.com. I rather use Bora Paris dot Com or bora paris than boraparis in keyword tag. By the way it is suggestion from Google.

Placing keyword which is the first word from the top after body tag into Keyword Tag is good habit as well. Find the ways to link this word. For example Learn to Make Money Online is a keyword in my blog. It has a link to Bora Paris dot Com home page. More than that Bora Paris is emphasized. Having too many keywords in Keyword Tag is not good at all. I’ve seen dozens of sites where hundreds of keywords are there. I would say, having 10-12 informative keywords in Keyword Tag is fine.

Having a good product or service of any kind doesn’t mean good on sales. Even providing services to group of customers who accustomed to use it requires investment in advertising and constant updates.

How to Succeed by Following a Web Celebrity

I’ve been observing a masters of blogosphere or so called web celebrity already more then a half of a year. People who don’t sit on a place. Who are they, web celebrity, and why they are successful? This is my topic today.

Web Celebrity acquire readers, organize competitions, embody new projects during a life and continue to write under the schedule. If there is nothing to write, they provide with information or simply advertise or just talk around on the abstract subjects.

Only real experts can afford this temp in now-days. Here is some answers on questions why these bloggers have most, why their new projects and ideas are always popular, why they are interviewed, why the opportunities for them practically boundless?

Remember! The most important characteristic of all of them is hard working, dedication, and value of their final product e.g blog.

Having this in mind these people have collected huge audience around themselves which in turns is the root of their success. This audience, colleagues, friends are the who implements ideas, vote for news, buy a products, etc.

For the same reason (see above) such bloggers have huge experience and as consequence links to important people. They really do what they tell about, share the helpful information (at top of glory this helpful information is traced between the lines). Newbie is always hungry for skilled person’s advise and follow this person.

Further conclusions from all above is trust. Audience and experience works on trust to the author. If I trust the author, it means I’m ready to participate in all his undertakings and promote him and his product. In fact it is fine to refer to authority in the field you try something to achieve. Some people do not understand advantage of this activity.

Having all this in mind let me make a conclusion: Hard working is the main and first thing to consider in blogging, but following web celebrity will speed up your popularity as well. Was it your goal in blogging?

Save Money and Keep Your Weight Down Tips

Feeling the financial pinch? Deciding to pack your lunch ever day will save you a ton of money, keep your weight down, and it’s pretty yummy too!!

Don’t bore yourself by packing the same thing every day. You will hate your packed lunch and go buy something instead. Change it up and switch from salads to soups to sandwiches and my favourite – “snackables”.

My first suggestion is the easiest one of all. When you make dinner, make extra and take it for lunch. I love leftovers and we often fight over it in my house if there is only a little leftover. If it was good enough for dinner, it will be yummy for lunch too.

Failing that, find ways to use up the leftovers to create something new. Leftover chicken? How about a chicken salad sandwich, a chicken quesadilla, or a wrap? Lots of rice leftover and not much else? How about adding some black beans, chili powder, chopped peppers and onions. Warm it up in the microwave at work and it’s a Mexican fiesta!

Use your imagination and use lots of things with flavour. Why do a ham and cheese when you can do ham with smoked gouda, grainy mustard and tomatoes (packed separately so you don’t get a squishy sandwich). And make your sandwich on a yummy seedy bun or a whole wheat wrap. Think of the things you like and put them together. How about chicken, cream cheese and avocado? Or turkey, brie and cranberry sauce?

Snackables is one of my favourite lunches and it’s quick. Get one of those divided containers or use a series of small containers and baggies. It’s really just a bunch of snacky stuff for lunch. Choose what you like from the list and mix it up:

Hummus
Olives
Pepperoni chopped into bite sized pieces
Cheese cubes
Crackers
Pita wedges
Pickles
Almonds
Celery and carrot sticks
Apple wedges
Cherry tomatoes

Don’t even get me started on salads!! There is so much you can do with a salad. Just pick out a few new dressings and go crazy from there. Raspberry vinaigrette – spinach, pecans, goat cheese, pears. Balsamic vinaigrette – romaine, sunflower seeds, chicken, pea pods, cherry tomatoes and feta. Asian dressing – packaged coleslaw, sesame seeds, pea pods and salmon. You get the idea.

Now go shopping and think about what is for dinner and lunch this week. Have fun with it and remember what you don’t eat for dinner is lunch!!

How To Quickly Lose Weight or Weight Loss Diet

When I say Quickly Lose Weight I mean no weird drinks, no soup all day, no hotdogs and ice cream for breakfast but cereal for dinner (I’m not kidding) weirdo diets. You know what you are supposed to eat, so do that.

Really and truly it is so easy. Stop the junk food and the alcohol because you know that is wasted calories. Stop looking at the bag of baked Doritos and saying “oh look these chips have less calories than regular chips!” like you think that is going to help you lose weight. Really. You don’t need the darn chips. Do not eat any food that doesn’t have some nutritional value. Easy peasy.

Ok so now you are only going to eat good food. What next with Weight Loss Diet? Pay attention to the order you eat it in. Save the foods that are the worst for you (low fiber carbs) for last. For example for dinner you made meat loaf, potatoes, broccoli and salad. Eat the salad because that is the best thing on the plate. Then eat the broccoli, then the meat. Last, nibble on the potatoes. If you are feeling a little full, toss them out. Gasp!! What a waste!! Would you rather have it on your waist??

Now what are you drinking with that meal? Diet Coke. Ok good it has no calories. But it also has no nutrition. So have a glass of skim milk with your meal instead. There are several reasons for that. It will fill you up a bit so you eat less, it has calcium which studies say you are probably not getting enough of and it is a good source or protein. For desert, have that diet Coke!

And no matter what – don’t go hungry!! Just make sure every meal and snack is something good for you. Skipping meals will actually cause you to gain weight. When you skip meals your body thinks you are starving so it stores fat AND when you do eat a little, it turns it into fat for you so it is ready for the next time you starve yourself. See? Not a good idea.

Today I’d like to start my series of topics on blogging, how I understand it, and most important how to make blogging profitable from my firs hand experience. I will cover simple things you probably know about, don’t get me wrong, please. But I discuss my topic under different angle of view, through prism of the time and personality.

Ask yourself why you are blogging anyway? What was the cause you start glogging? Why blogging is so important to you now-days like never before? With no doubt there are hundreds if not thousands of reasons why. But Number one is – get to be known. Is it advertising? Yes it is! It means you can apply rules and techniques of advertising on blogging in order to sell. What to sell? Yourself of cause.

When you selling the product, you selling your personality, your unrepeatable uniqueness. You disclosure features and benefits of merchandise as better as nobody else. You are leading buyer, no doubt selling is leading. You have to lead people, you have to tell people about yourself, you need the vehicle to deliver your product. You need advertising.

The only purpose of advertising is selling the product. Other than that is demagogy.
There was the times when people sell goods without advertising. It was the time when people sell what they made. Those times gone forever. Now the time when people make goods which other people will buy. This is the difference between NOW and THEN.

So NOW you need advertising of any kind to sell the product. Many thanks to Internet, we can do it online by just pushing a button. Advertising itself is a product being sold to make money. As any product for sale it needs advertising. Rat race? Oh ya, indeed! It’s money making machine.

So you selling advertising as a salesman and you have to advertise this advertising. Remember what you are selling? You betcha! YOUSELF! The only thing than can disclosure is your own features as a person is… You know what it is. It’s writing article about you e.g. blogging.

Now you have idea what blogging is from advertiser point of view. Probably now you get the point why today is so important. Today is The day between NOW and THEN.

Make Money Online: Time Management and Power of Focus

Every time I’ve been listening to Stephen Pierce and watching his video I get inspired with new thoughts. Next day after I’ve got new ideas and tactics to apply in my life to be better. Words are power and brain is miracle to convert this power into good.

Remember when you were a kid and mom teaches you how to brush your teeth? Probably you don’t. It was long ago, but you repeat this procedure every morning. Why? Your brain gives you impulses to do this day after day what were taught day by day long ago. Now it’s your habit.

Why not to use the same technique when you started online business? Is it simple? You betcha! In fact there is no fast ways to be rich. But following by simple tactics every day you can achieve your dream to be rich relatively fast. Let me explain how.

If you have read How to Start to Make Money in Three Days: Day One, How to Choose Web Hosting and Register Domain Name: Day Two, and How to Install WordPress in Five Minutes: Day Three, you know that starting online business or blog is not big deal.

The most important thing is to keep it alive and convert into money machine. There is not fast solution though, but there is a simple one. If this is your dream recall your first teeth brushing?

During my life I realized that time management and power of focus are components in making money online. I realized also: don’t do a lot at once, do little but every day. Develop the habits. It’s easy, but time consuming, but rewarding.

They say that your habits will determine your future. Then start with simple task. Start reading other’s article on Internet related to your business idea. Bookmark websites you like or could be helpful in your journey. Try to do this in the same time frame day by day.

Let say from 7:30 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. Half an hour is enough to start with. Reading has to be your habit. Read articles and focus on your idea. Think how you can implement other’s idea into your dream. Focus on your dream and read. Read and be focused.

Set up a real dream and think about it. Write down your dream main concept and focus on how to achieve it. Google keywords if you don’t know what steps to take and read.

The point is: reading is the only excessive for your brain. Don’t worry if you don’t understand the subject. Google secondary keywords and get the point. Be focused on your dream.

It takes time to develop habit to read and google. Internet powered by google is the source of power and success. When you read the articles successful entrepreneurs give out for free to the community, you’ll understand why they are successful.

They use the same pattern in articles day by day. Copy these patters. This is the secret.

Know the enemy!
Make a list of the food items that are your weaknesses. These aren’t always unhealthy foods, either. Sometimes we fool ourselves into believing that as long as we avoid the “bad” foods, we’re making progress. At least, that’s what we like to think as we get up for our third serving of fruit salad, or finish a bag of pretzels in one sitting, saying that they’re healthier than chips. Remember that too much of anything is bad. You probably don’t need to keep a food diary to know your enemies. Common culprits include soda, bread, alcohol, and fast food.

How to Configure WordPress Theme and Plugins

Theme activation is the easiest task to perform with WordPress and my favorite one. For those of you who already got copy of frugal Theme, unzip/extract it and keep in its own directory. Access your site’s server with an FTP program and add this directory into /wp-content/themes/ path.

Log in to your Administration Panel and follow to Appearance in the left-hand side horizontal menu. You’ll see each theme available for you to use along with current theme on the top. Click Activate on one of your choice and that’s it. You can play with Preview option to view theme without activation.

If you’re capable of editing CSS and HTML you can alter the theme to suit your taste. However I would recommend that you edit a copy of the files keeping backup unchanged.

Installing a WordPress Plugin can vary from one to another but almost all WordPress Plugins install the same way.
Some Plugins come in folders with names associated with plugin some plugins come as separate files.

Always download the latest version of the WordPress Plugin to your computer.
Access your site’s server with an FTP program. Upload the Plugin file(s) or folder to the /wp-content/plugins folder.

Click on Plugins from the left-hand side horizontal menu in your WordPress Administration Panel,

You’ll see your new Plugin listed. If it’s not the case check with your FTP program the folder to see if it is installed. If it isn’t, upload the files again. If it is, delete the files and upload them again.

Click Activate to turn the WordPress Plugin on.
Check your Administration Panel or WordPress blog to see if the Plugin is working.

If your WordPress Plugin requires some form of configuration or set up, it will add an extra menu to your Settings or separate set of configuration in Administration Panel.

Always check the Plugin’s official page or documentation for instructions for configuration to make sure your plugin installed properly.

How to Install WordPress in Five Minutes: Day Three

Hope you’ve done good job with your Hosting and Domain Name. Today we gonna to Install WordPress in Five Minutes easy.

Setting up Wordpress is not big deal. With BlueHost you can do it from cPanal in less than five minutes to complete.

If you’d like to play a little bit with installation in order to get some knowledge follow this simple instructions. It takes no more than five minutes as well.

1. Download and unzip WordPress package. Follow this link for last stable version of Wordpress.

2. Create a database for WordPress on your web server and user with all privileges for accessing and modifying it.

3. Rename the wp-config-sample.php file to wp-config.php.

4. Open wp-config.php file in text editor such as Notepad++, TextPad, or BBEdit etc. (A text editor is a program which edits files in plain text format.) and fill in your database details. (see Details below)

5. Place the WordPress files in the desired location on your web server

a. upload all contents of WordPress package into the root directory (public_html)if you want to integrate WordPress into the root of your domain (e.g. http://www.yourdomain.com/)

b. if you want to have WordPress installation in blog subdirectory on your web site (e.g http://www.yourdomain.com/blog/), rename the directory wordpress to the blog and upload it to your web server.

6. Run the WordPress installation script by accessing wp-admin/install.php in your browser.

a. if you install WordPress in the root directory, access http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-admin/install.php

b. if you install WordPress in its own subdirectory called blog, for example you should access:
http://www.yourdomain.com/blog/wp-admin/install.php

That is it! You’ve done with WordPress installation.

Let say yourdomain is your URL
Database Name – dbname
Database User – dbuser
Database Password – dbpassword

How to Make Money and Have Fun

turtle Finding similarity and parallelism in learning is my favorite task. It helps understand and eventually explain new subject in simple language. Let’s have some fun applying this technique on Make Money issue.

They say there are three Basic Needs – Food, Shelter, and Clothing. The rest is luxury (my five cents). This is Mother Nature.
When it comes to Making Money Online three Basic Needs come up in my dot Com head. They are: Content, Hosting, and Appearance. The rest is (my five dollars) how to convert it into cash mainstream. This is Cyber Nature.

I used to hear that website Appearance is not important in the beginning of online money-making endeavor. I totally disagree with that concept. Having great idea makes Cyber Creator responsible on how newborn Cyberbaby will integrate into online community. First impression is very important for long lasting success. This is Nature of Cyberculture though.

Hosting is a shelter for your milky-cow-online creature. Not all hosting providers alike and not all of them suitable for particular money making needs. Choosing such kind of roof has to be done with one-step-ahead thinking. This definitely has to be your Cyberculture.

Let’s go further with parallels.

Content is food and the King of the Internet. Healthy food is a keyword whether it’s human or cyber Nature. Great content means success, but having reliable hosting and friendly interface will speed up this process in the beginning. This is… come on, stop it!
